Where in the world is time going? I can’t believe how much Aspen is growing and changing. She is such an amazing joy in our family. Here’s a little of what she is up to at 10 months:
Weight - 20.8 lbs
Height- ? bad mommy and missed measuring her…
Size 3 diapers
Mostly size 12 months clothes
Size 2 shoes
Aspen is doing great with her sleeping. She’s in a solid routine of 2 naps/day and going to bed around 9, waking up around 6. She loves to eat!! She feeds herself mostly anything I’ll give to her. She still has 4 6 oz bottles/day and in between she has her oatmeal and for dinner she is mostly eating table food. She still eats baby food once in awhile when I don’t think she’s ready for whatever we’re having to eat. She would eat the whole canister of puffs if I would let her! haha
She’s a super busy girl. She loves to play with her toys and “read” her books. She’s running walking all the time now (I’m guessing this is why she hasn’t gained hardly any weight since last month). She loves to be outside and “explore”. She is a very determined little girl – if there is something she can’t do she will continue to try until she gets it! This is mostly a good thing, but I see several temper tantrums coming in the future too…
She talks to me all the time. We will be having a “conversation” and then she’ll scrunch her nose and laugh and it’s the cutest thing. She’s got so much personality. She’s still a little unsure of people she doesn’t know that well but she’s getting better with it.
We spent her 10 month bday at the KC Zoo celebrating my little brother’s 8th bday. I was so proud of Aspen – she was content to ride in her stroller, walk with me occasionally and even noticed some of the animals while we were there. She is so much fun, and I feel so incredibly blessed to be her mommy!
