Our church group planned an outing to the TBones (the minor league team in the KC area) game this last weekend, and we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take Aspen to her first TBones game. We sat on the grassy area in the outfield, and enjoyed good friends, good baseball and ballpark hotdogs and nachos!
Aspen had a tough time with the grass seats...b/c of the slope I was afraid she would tumble down the hill if I let her get up and play and she's definitely not a sit-still kinda girl. We let her do a little running on the walkway behind the outfield.
Aspen really enjoyed watching all the people (not so much interest in the game yet - HA!) and wanted to take off down the hill to play with the other kids so bad!
We had a great time spending the evening at the game, and looking forward to going back!!
