My first baby, Roxy, turned 5 on the 17th! She's gone through a lot of change with us this year and we couldn't be more proud of the way she has done with the addition of her sister to our family. I love to see her and Aspen becoming such good friends and can't wait to see them play more together as Aspen grows.
Bringing my baby home. She stole my heart from the first second I saw her. I got Roxy after I graduated college. The first night I had her I tried to sleep her in her kennel. She cried and cried. The second night we tried to put the kennel up on my bed so she could still see me. I gave in, in the middle of the night and she snuggled up and slept for the whole night right beside me. That's where she sleeps to this day! She always knows when I need a hug and is always so happy to see me.
I thank God for bringing her to me every night before I go to bed. Roxy fills our home with so many laughs and so much love. She is the one who taught us how to be parents before we had Aspen. I can't believe she's already 5!
